About Morgan Cannaday

Morgan was born in Washington DC, but has lived in New Mexico since 1995. Upon graduating from St. Pius X High School, she moved to Las Cruces to attend New Mexico State University where she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduation, Morgan started a career with Marriott International where she learned the importance of stellar customer service. In 2012, she moved back to Albuquerque to join her mom, Kris, in real estate.

Morgan is a very active member of the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Association and has also volunteered on several committees, task forces and advisory groups. She graduated from GAAR’s Leadership Development Program in 2014.

Morgan has a true passion and love for the Greater Albuquerque Area. She donates hundreds of hours each year giving back and volunteering in the community. Morgan is a proud member of Albuquerque Economic Development, investing in the economic expansion of the city she cares so much about. Morgan is currently Board Chair of Hands Across Time NM, a local nonprofit created to assist children aging out of foster care and other vulnerable populations secure affordable housing. She is also an active volunteer at PACA Animal Rescue, fostering homeless dogs that have been abused and neglected.

Morgan has been honored with many awards for her work in the community and in the real estate industry, including GAAR’s Good Neighbor Award, the Mayor’s Rising Star Award, ABF’s 40 Under 40 Award and DVRC’s Community Leader Award. 

In her spare time, you can find Morgan hiking the Sandia’s with her dogs, enjoying the incredible scenery Albuquerque has to offer.
